The DigiTrak® iGPS® module is a compact and fully incorporated GNSS receiver, offering precise positioning data directly to the DigiTrak Falcon F5® walkover locating system. iGPS is meticulously designed for applications in the field of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) where it's essential to seamlessly blend above-ground location data with data for underground locating.
Securing an exact representation of the bore's location is a necessity for both public utilities and private companies engaged in underground asset installations. The iGPS module activates instantly upon connecting to the Falcon F5 receiver and augments GNSS data to each recorded depth reading. This data can be conveniently displayed in a tabular format and can be exported as a KML file for superimposition on Google Earth.
