What we carry
Construction Equipment. Compact track loaders and skid steers are what most site work crews come in for. In stock now: the 2019 Bobcat T595, the 2018 Takeuchi TL8, the 2018 Wacker Neuson ST31 and the 2020 Kubota SSV75. For digging, the 2016 Kubota KX040-4 - Mini Excavator is in stock, and for loading and grading work we have the 2018 JCB 407 T4 Wheel Loader and the 2019 John Deere 350G LGP dozer. The 2024 Cougar CG827 is also on the lot. Machines that rotate through this category include the 2023 John Deere 317G, the 2020 Kubota SVL75-2 - Compact Track Loader and the 2025 Bobcat MT100, along with telehandlers such as the 2014 JLG Skytrak 10042 and generator sets such as the 2022 Multiquip C30HDGA.
Air compressors. Towable air is part of most site work fleets, so we keep it here with the machines. In stock now: the 2017 Atlas Copco XAS 185, the Airman PDS185S and the Ingersoll Rand P185. If you are shopping new air, we are also an ELGi portable air compressor representative in Florida, and those units are listed on their own page.
Work Trucks. Crews need something to haul the machine. The 2004 Kenworth T300 Flatbed is in stock. Trucks like the 2017 International 4300 SBA and the 2024 Chevrolet 2500 HD are examples of what rotates through, and our shop works on Mack, Kenworth and International trucks for customers who buy elsewhere.
Locating equipment. Site work runs into buried utilities, so locating gear sits in the same building. The 2018 US Radar Q4-300 GPR System and the 2019 Falcon F1 / F1 Classic Locator are both in stock. Every used locator is tested before sale.
Why buy from A3
We are a licensed equipment dealer, so the title, registration and sales tax side of the sale is handled the way a dealer handles it. Behind that, A3 Mechanic is a working diesel and HDD shop, founded in 2023 and run by mechanics with more than twenty years each on heavy machinery, HDD rigs and work trucks.
Machines sold here are inspected and serviced in the Apopka shop by the same mechanics who repair those brands for contractors around Central Florida. We service what we sell and we stock what we service. That means the engine work, DEF diagnostics and DPF regeneration, A/C and electrical, certified welding and fabrication, and hydraulic work from diagnostics to hoses, cylinders and pumps all happen in house. Parts, machines and trailers are under one roof, and trailers are part of what we do as well, including sales, manufacturing and refurbishing. When the machine you bought needs a mechanic two seasons from now, you are calling the shop that already knows the unit.
There is a second reason contractors buy here rather than from a listing site. A dealer that only moves iron has no reason to tell you what is wrong with a machine, because after the sale it stops being their problem. A shop that has to fix the thing later has every reason to tell you. Our mechanics look at the engine, the hydraulics, the undercarriage or tires, the electrical and the attachments, and what they find gets said out loud before money changes hands. If a unit needs a pump, it gets a pump here. If it needs a hose assembly or a weld repair on a bucket, that is done in house too, because hydraulics and certified welding and fabrication are both part of what the shop does every week.
Who this is for
This equipment goes out to site work contractors grading, clearing and prepping lots, to utility and fiber installers who need a loader and a mini excavator alongside their drill, to HDD contractors building out a support fleet, and to fleet owners replacing tired machines one at a time. Landscapers, concrete crews and general contractors across Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties buy here for the same reason: the shop that sold the machine is the shop that can fix it, and it is a short haul away.
It also suits the owner operator who is buying his second machine and cannot afford a month of downtime learning that the first one was a bad deal. Most of the crews we sell to are running four to fifteen pieces of iron, doing their own daily maintenance and calling a mechanic when something is past a grease gun and a filter. That is the customer this yard is built around, which is why the machines on it are the sizes those crews actually use rather than whatever came cheapest at auction.
How pricing works
Where the price is fixed, it is published on the listing, so you can see the number before you call. Where the number depends on configuration, attachments or what goes out as a package, the listing says Call for price. That is not a sales tactic, it is because a machine with a bucket, forks and a set of tracks is not the same sale as the bare unit. Trade-ins and consignment are both on the table, and both depend on what you are bringing, so ask us. Availability moves as machines sell, so call (689) 688-6796 to confirm what is still on the lot.
Service area
The shop is at 4350 Hogshead Rd, Apopka, FL 32703, open Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM. We sell and service equipment throughout Orlando, Apopka, Winter Garden, Sanford, Kissimmee, Clermont, Winter Park, Ocoee and the rest of Central Florida, covering Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola counties. Shop service and mobile service are both available, so diagnostics and many repairs can be handled at your yard or on the jobsite, and the bigger jobs come to Apopka.

Frequently asked questions
What brands of construction equipment do you sell and service?
The yard and the shop run on Bobcat, Kubota, Takeuchi, John Deere, JCB and Wacker Neuson machines, plus Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand and Airman air compressors and Mack, Kenworth and International trucks. Our mechanics work on those same brands every week, which is why we stock them. Call the shop to ask about a specific model.
Are these machines serviced before they are sold?
Yes. Machines are inspected and serviced in our Apopka shop by the mechanics who repair those brands for contractors in Central Florida. Engine, hydraulics, drive system and electrical get looked at before a unit is listed. If something was left as is, you are told what it is before you buy.
Can you service the machine after I buy it?
That is the point of buying from a shop. We handle heavy machinery maintenance and repair, diesel engines, DEF diagnostics and DPF regeneration, A/C and electrical, certified welding and fabrication, and hydraulics in house, including hoses, cylinders and pumps. Shop service and mobile service are both available.
Why do some machines show a price and others say call for price?
A price is shown when it is fixed. When the number depends on configuration, attachments or what goes out with the machine as a package, the listing says Call for price rather than quoting something we would have to change. Call (689) 688-6796 and we will price the machine as you want it.
Do you take trade-ins?
Ask us. We take trade-ins and we handle consignment, and both depend on the machine itself, its hours and its condition. Bring the details or bring the unit to the shop at 4350 Hogshead Rd in Apopka and our mechanics will look at what you have before anyone talks numbers.
Machine down? Truck in the shop too long?
Talk to a mechanic at our Apopka shop, Mon to Fri, 7 AM to 5 PM. Shop and mobile service across Central Florida.
